No, the reason is that water’s viscosity will not change between the tempature in the frig and room tempature. Also, the internatal workings of the filter (mostly carbon pieces) do not expand or contract with that little change in tempature so that it will not clog. If you are noticing a difference then it may be time to change the filter.
